Thursday, May 13, 2010 FREEPERS SEE RED. When Paul Godat told me about this, I assumed it was some kind of hack. Even the mouthbreathers at Free Republic, I thought, couldn't be so deranged as to get after Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan for putting free tampons in the Harvard Law ladies' rooms when she was Dean.
Nothing is "free." Someone always has to pay for it. Whether it be health care, food, your mortgage, coffee, or tampons.

Kagan hasn't been my favorite nomination, but the wingnuts' internal combustion over her may make it so.
